About

Anna Kordsmeier's work explores the ephemeral nature of memory and personal narrative. Kordsmeier combines images of objcts from everyday life with natural forms and patterns to investigate the connections between family, identity, and personal history. Kordsmeier received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Cardinal Stritch University and her Master of Fine Arts from Memphis College of Art. She currently lives and works near Louisville, Kentucky.
